Smoky Blue Quartz from Boyaca, Colombia BSQZ100126_1

Smoky blue quartz from Boyacá, Colombia are highly prized, naturally terminated crystals known for their pristine clarity and mesmerizing optical illusion of "blue smoke." This internal effect, similar to the light-scattering property that makes the sky blue, creates a surreal floating mist inside the clear quartz.  The characteristic blue mist is caused by microscopic fluid and mineral inclusions that scatter light when viewed at specific angles, often resembling phantom mists or clouds. The underlying "smoky" aspect adds a subtle brown or grey tint to the matrix, providing deep grounding energy in addition to the upper-chakra activation associated with blue quartz.  Traces of iron give the wands warm, earthy root or base zones.

The combination of smoky quartz (grounding and protection) and blue smoke (clearing mental fog and enhancing intuition) makes this large cluster a powerful tool for meditation and energy work; the iron inclusions provide strength, vitality, and amplified energy projection.
