Kundalini Citrine is a rare, completely natural form of smoky citrine from the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) that features a distinctive growth pattern with smaller crystal points sprouting around a larger central point. It is found exclusively near the town of Luena (Lwena) in the Haut-Lomami province of the DRC. Also called Kundalini Quartz or artichoke quartz, it displays a central termination surrounded by cascading smaller crystals resembling a rising serpent.
Unlike commercial bright orange citrine—which is typically heat-treated amethyst—Kundalini Citrine is 100% natural, unheated, and ranges from pale honey-yellow to smoky brown.
