This polished quartz root is a crystal specimen featuring a smooth, polished upper point or facets that transitions directly into a raw, unpolished, and earthy natural base.
The top and sides are polished to a glass-like shine for light reflection, while the bottom retains its natural matrix or mineral-rich "root" formation. The refractions are incredible on this piece.
Many pieces contain earthy minerals, chlorite, or iron-rich growth trapped inside the lower quartz layers.
