Herkimer Diamond, from Fonda Mountain, New York 66g H2261021

At over 2 inches, this Herk is large enough to display prominently as a cabinet specimen, yet compact enough to maintain structural clarity without the extensive, muddy fractures common in massive quartz slabs AND a distinct internal anthraxolite phantom structure.  The main termination is entirely intact, sharp, water-clear, and highly reflective; no broken or cloudy tip.  The contrast between the pristine water-clear tip and the dark internal structure gives it exceptional visual presence.

Herkimer Diamonds formed in the earth nearly 500 million years ago in crystal pockets within ancient dolostone. Their unique conditions of formation—low-pressure hydrothermal fluids crystallizing slowly in hollow pockets—allowed for: Natural double terminations (points at both ends), symbolizing energy flow in and out Extraordinary internal clarity, often gem-grade and water-clear rainbow inclusions, carbon inclusions (anthraxolite), enhydros. Herkimer Diamonds are found exclusively in the Herkimer region of New York, in this case, from Fonda Mountain, making them highly collectible. Yes, you can find quartz anywhere, however these Herkimer Diamond Quartz are ONLY in the Herkimer in upper New York from Fonda Mountain.

This particular crystal amplifies all other crystals – Herkimer is one of the strongest natural magnifiers of energy, making it ideal for manifestation grids, healing, and pairing with rarer stones; cleanses & purifies the aura – removes energetic debris, negative imprints, and psychic residue; enhances lucid dreaming & astral travel – A portal stone for those seeking access to higher dimensional realms and dreamwork; strengthens spiritual gifts – particularly clairvoyance, telepathy, channeling; Activates the crown & third eye chakras.
