Calcite "Dinosaur Tooth" Calcite from Pakistan

Dinosaur tooth just sounds so cool....but they really are just calcite - Dogs tooth calcite - the light green body of the scalenohedral crystal owes its coloration to microscopic inclusions of chlorite or other minerals trapped during crystallization.  The red/brown phatom "Cap" represents a distinct phase shift during the crystal's growth. Over time, the mineral rich water solution in the cave or rock pocket shifted, depositing iron oxide minerals (such as hematite) over the preexisting green calcite core.
The tapered, triangular geometry clearly shows the classic "dogtooth" scalenohedral form typical of well-terminated calcite crystals.

This specific specimen is considered a powerful synergy stone because it combines the energies of two contrasting mineral phases: Green Calcite and Red/Hematite Calcite.

Green calcite is known as a soothing "heart healer." It is used to release stagnant emotional patterns, old habits, and rigid beliefs that block growth.  Like the springtime green it carries, it aligns with a frequency of renewal, clarity, and inviting fresh opportunities or financial abundance into your life. The hematite-rich red cap connects directly to the root chakra. It grounds the airy, emotional energy of the green calcite, making you feel secure, focused, and physically present.  Red calcite acts as an energy amplifier. It is often used to overcome lethargy, spark creativity, and give you the physical drive needed to manifest ideas into reality.

Because the crystal naturally forms sharp, pointed scalenohedrons, its physical geometry acts as a directional amplifier.  The tooth-like point is thought to laser-focus your personal intentions out into the universe, making it a favorite tool for manifestation grids or meditation.

Metaphysically, a "capped" or phantom crystal signifies growth over time. Because the red cap formed over the green body, this stone is highly recommended for people undergoing massive life transitions. It reminds you that your core (the green heart) remains intact, even as you build protective, grounding layers (the red cap) to navigate a changing environment.
